Our Educational Planning Team will work with you to create a customized timetable based on your talents and passions, learning goals, and academic and career interests.  
   
You’ll receive personalized support to develop a realistic educational plan and access to free tutoring and academic workshops. You’ll earn college credits as you explore your academic and career options, which you can transfer into other college programs geared to support your chosen path.

Program of Study

This program is highly customizable! To earn the General Arts and Science Certificate, you must complete courses in the following categories: 

  • SSC 1002: Thinking, Reasoning, Relating
  • any English course
  • any Math course (including but not limited to BUS 1008: Personal Finance)
  • any Sociology or Indigenous Studies course
  • any Science OR Computer Science course (including but not limited to SCI 1000: Issues and Ethics in Science; IND 1010: Taking Care of Shkagamik-Kwe; BIO 1000: Fungus Among Us; LST 1115: Navigating Technology for Education)

In addition, you will select 9 elective courses in any field. A knowledgeable Education Planner will meet with you to create a timetable that best reflects your learning goals and interests.

Admission requirements

For graduates of the new curriculum (OSS): Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent or mature student status, including any grade 12 English - (E) Workplace, (C) College, (U) University.
