Maintain law and order with a job in corporate security
Experience brand new courses and curriculum exploring how to conduct patrols and investigations, utilize security equipment, collect evidence, take notes, and make arrests. As a graduate, you’ll be able to walk off the campus and into a job armed with the skills and knowledge you'll need to keep people and places safe. From concerts to hospitals, safety and security plays a crucial role in diverse industries like mining, education, casino, energy, retail, medical, residential, and entertainment. You’ll learn to communicate effectively with different types of people in situations of both conflict and calm and manage the movement of people and vehicles.
After semester one, you'll be eligible to earn your Security Guard License, and in semester two, you'll be eligible to able to earn your Private Investigator License. When you graduate, you can pursue your career or take advantage of fast-track options to complete other Cambrian public safety programs.
Please note: A criminal record can be a serious impediment to employment in this particular field. Many law and security employers insist on a clean criminal record.

Specific program pathway
Students successfully completing the Corporate Safety and Security program may enter directly into the second year of the Protection, Security, and Investigation or Police Foundations program.
