Train to enter the construction and renovation sector
In just 28 weeks, you’ll put craftsmanship to good use by gaining hands-on experience and the skills you need to enter the construction and renovation sector. You’ll develop a basic understanding of how to plan, estimate, manage, and deliver a typical renovation project, including courses on welding and framing. You’ll gain practical experience working with interior and exterior applications in the carpentry shop.
Courses cover many aspects of carpentry and renovation projects, from building codes to learning to identify hazardous practices. Adherence to safety standards on the job site, safe working practices, and personal safety are emphasized at all times.

Admission requirements
For graduates of the new curriculum (OSS): Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent or mature student status, including:
