WES 2330   Family Dynamics   Credits: 3

In this course, students will examine the modern family from a number of different perspectives including family functions, systems theory and life cycle. The intent is to look at how the family affects its individual members and vice versa. A number of problems relating to family will be examined in detail including violence in the family, and effects of separation and divorce on the family. Variation in family composition will be discussed. A student will lose 5% a day for any late assignments handed in.
