WES 2310   Social Work Practice III   Credits: 4

In this course, students will further develop and refine counselling skills acquired in previous courses. Information seminars will also be conducted to provide practice-related knowledge. Prior to final field placement, students will also have opportunities to improve skills, deal with personal and professional concerns and obtain knowledge relevant to Social Service Work practice in order to ensure qualitative services for clients/agencies during field placement. Due to the skills required, some of the course content will be the joint responsibility of students and professor. Flexibility and group decision making will play a major role.
