USP 2145   Neurosonography   Credits: 2

In this course, students will apply the skills needed for the sonographic evaluation of neonatal and infant heads. Students will examine anatomy and pathology, sonographic appearance, scanning techniques protocols to understand the images necessary for diagnosis. Finally, students will learn to provide the technical impression for physician interpretation, utilizing knowledge of structures and conditions. This is a core course in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
