SOC 1210   Introduction To Criminology   Credits: 3

In this course, students will be introduced to a social scientific study of crime and criminal behaviour. This course is designed to provide students with a working knowledge of the extent, impact and nature of crime in modern society with specific reference to the Canadian context. Students will be exposed to various theories to develop their own position regarding the problems, current practices and solutions associated with criminal behaviour.
