MRT 1244   Radiographic Procedures II   Credits: 5

In this course, students will identify the anatomical landmarks and relational anatomy to position the patient, direct the beam and collimate to demonstrate required radiographic anatomical structures and pathologies of the skull, facial bones, sinuses, respiratory system, abdomen, gastrointestinal system and urinary system. Students will learn how to adapt exposure factors and positioning requirements to meet the individual needs of the patient. Images will be presented and evaluated, along with suggested appropriate actions to correct improper positioning and improve image quality.
