MRT 1210   Dedicated Radiographic Equip   Credits: 3

In this course, students will gain an understanding of the timing mechanisms in general radiographic equipment; in particular, the proper use of automatic exposure control devices will be studied. Students will gain knowledge about the purpose and functioning of mobile radiographic equipment. The digital fluoroscopic imaging system is examined as well as specialized equipment for vascular and interventional radiography. Students will also be introduced to the operation and components of computed tomography equipment and bone mineral densitometry equipment.
