MRT 1144   Radiographic Procedures I   Credits: 6

In this course, students will determine the anatomical landmarks and relational anatomy to position the patient, direct the beam and collimate to demonstrate the required anatomical structures and pathologies of the upper and lower extremities, shoulder and pelvis, bony thorax and respiratory system. Evaluation of the patient to determine exposure factors will also be studied. Clinical simulation and positioning labs apply this theory to simulated practice. Students will also be presented with image evaluation and review.
