MNG 2310   Mine Ventilation   Credits: 4

In this course, students will examine mine ventilation and basic mine environmental concerns, including practice in measuring airflows and common contaminants. Other environmental concerns to be studied are: the control of physical and chemical agents, noise, light, heat, humidity, and temperature. Students will be required to reference the Ontario Ministry of Labour's Occupational Health and Safety Act to determine regulatory requirements.
