MCH 2410   Strength Of Materials II   Credits: 4

In this course, students will be introduced to structural mechanics utilizing classical methods. Topics to be covered include mechanics of reinforced concrete beams, and horizontal shear stresses. Students will examine axial and bending loads, deflection of beams, solution of statically indeterminate beams and frames, and analysis of stresses using computer software.
