MCH 1205   Mechanics   Credits: 5

In this course, students will work with applications of Newton's Laws on simple plane mechanical and structural systems in static equilibrium. Students will perform calculations in a variety of topic areas, including: components of vectors, resultants, equilibrium force systems, moments, couples, free-body diagrams, friction, centre of gravity, centroids, and moments of inertia.
