INT 1006   Instrumentation I   Credits: 4

In this course, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of Instrumentation as it applies to pressure, and level. Students will be learning the basic instrumentation symbols and standard signals used in industry. Students will draw and explain the theory and operation of these instruments for the applications of typical pressure, and level measurements. Students will be introduced to Control Valves focusing on ON/OFF Control, and the different types of that are available in industry. Lab work on trainers will reinforce the theory, where students will install, and connect various pieces of instrumentation equipment using for pressure, level, measurements to reinforce the learning outcomes.
