ELR 1121   Electrical Fundamentals   Credits: 6

In this course, students will be able to describe the physical concepts of electricity. They will apply Ohm's Law to series, parallel, and combination circuits to solve for current, voltage, and resistance and power. Students will also be introduced to digital multimeter uses and practices with the emphasis of safety in mind. Finally, they will be able to identify and describe the use of capacitors, inductors, and magnetism as applied to the electrical field.
