ELC 2425   PLC Basic Programming   Credits: 4

In this course, students will be introduced to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) software and applications. They will apply the procedures to convert from manual control to automatic through use of PLCs. Also, the students will develop programming skills and troubleshooting abilities through use of PLCs. They will interpret relay and motor control logic diagrams to convert to PLC logic Diagrams. Finally, the students will load the PLC logic into a PLC and demonstrate the application via the use of a computer.
