ELC 2315   Electrical Systems   Credits: 7

In this course, students will be able to describe the basic operating characteristics of motor control circuits and their related control devices, and application of three-phase power. They will analyze and calculate current, voltage, impedance and power characteristics in electrical distribution and control systems relating to RLC circuits. Electrical safety "test before touch" principles and procedures will also be discussed and applied to the use of motor control and power distribution applications.
