ELC 1125   Electrical Installation I   Credits: 5

In this course, students will be able to complete the electrical wiring of typical residential installations using the proper tools, testers, materials, and standard trade practices. They will construct actual working circuits, with the practical applications relating to the principles of series, parallel and combination circuit theory. The students will also demonstrate safe installation and work procedures as referenced in the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and the Occupational Health and Safety act. Finally, they will design and complete wiring diagrams.
