ELC 1007   PLC Projects & Troubleshooting   Credits: 5

In this course, students will develop the ability to widen their troubleshooting skills to isolate fault conditions using a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) software. They will demonstrate proper PLC controller setup to facilitate troubleshooting. Through a variety of input and output modules, students will examine how PLC display faults. An industrial pumping program will be operating within the PLC that is also hard wired to a test panel. Students will apply print reading techniques to isolate these fault conditions. Finally, they will also find and repair faults implemented into the working model.
