DSW 2405   Field Work III   Credits: 7

In this course, students will continue to develop their skills in working with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in placement settings. At this point in their development, students are expected to function at a higher level in the placement work site in terms of work assignment responsibility and in the quality of submitted assignments. Students are expected to work the regularly scheduled hours of the placement site. This placement is a 7 week placement and students must work between 7-8 hours per day. Students are expected to conduct themselves as professionals and demonstrate acceptable standards of work ethic and comportment at all times, as well as adhering to the DSW code of ethics. Pre and
co-requisites may be waived for advanced standing students with the permission of the Program Coordinator.
