DSW 1230   Autism Spectrum Disorders   Credits: 3

In this course, students will focus on the developmental, cognitive and social/emotional impairments of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Students will examine the theories, terminology, current treatment approaches and best practices in working with children, adults and their families in community and educational settings. Students who may not meet the
pre-requisites may be admitted to the course with the permission of the DSW program coordinator.
