DSW 1115   Positive Behavioral Supports I   Credits: 3

In this course, students will develop introductory and background information that is relevant to positive behavioral intervention and support plans. Biophysical and behavioral theoretical models will focus on person-directed supports and services which are respectful and foster self-determination and empowerment with inclusive environments. The approaches learned will be guided by ethical, competent, and accountable professional practice informed by current legislation for children and adults living with disabilities.
