DEN 2235   Radiography II   Credits: 3

In this course, students will learn to position, expose and develop diagnostic dental radiographs adhering to radiation protection methods as outlined in Safety Code 30. This course will also provide students with supplemental information on the effective use of radiographs including: assessment of radiographs for diagnostic usefulness, interpretation of normal anatomical features in dental radiographs, exposing and processing errors, and the interpretation of various dental materials. Students will discuss alternative radiographic techniques and the management of clients with special needs.
