DEN 1217   Clinical Practice I   Credits: 5

In this course, students will be introduced to the clinical and laboratory environment through a study of various materials used in dentistry, the charting symbols used in documentation, as well as some intra oral and laboratory procedures. The material is presented to the learners through lectures, demonstrations, manikin and partner work that emphasizes the consolidation of procedural skills, professional expectations, and the application of theoretical/analytical concepts.
