CIV 3520   Contracts Law & Specifications   Credits: 4

In this course, students will be introduced to contracts, specifications, and legal aspects of civil engineering work. Students will learn to read, write, and understand basic contract documents, and specifications. The students will be conversant in the federal, provincial, and municipal legal system of Canada. Students will resolve case studies involving ethical, environmental, and OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) breaches.
