CHM 1002   Physical Chemistry   Credits: 2

In this course, students will build upon the foundation established in General Chemistry I. The course will provide an extended background in the chemical concepts particularly applicable to students entering health science and chemistry programs. Topics covered include chemical equilibrium, energy changes in chemical systems, solution chemistry and acid/base chemistry. Classroom theory will be supported by in-class laboratory demonstrations. Mastering Chemistry will be utilized for on-line quizzes.
