CET 3621   Multi-Layer Switching   Credits: 4

In this course, students will build on their existing knowledge and practical experience with switches to design, build, manage, and troubleshoot a modern switched campus infrastructure. Topics include network design fundamentals, campus network architecture, advanced spanning-tree features, Inter-VLAN routing, first-hop redundancy protocols, network management, advanced switching features in a campus environment, high availability, and campus network security.
