In this course, students will develop a robust understanding of financial self-management through the use of budget and SMART goal setting strategies. Course material will give students fundamental knowledge on a variety of topics to assist with current and future financial decision making. Topics covered include, goal setting and budget strategies, banks and banking, saving and investing, credit cards, loans, mortgages, credit history, risk management, estate planning, and current fraud schemes. This course strives to teach students how to live within their means today and build a secure financial future.
