BIO 1107   Anatomy & Physiology I   Credits: 3

In this course, students will learn the subject of anatomy and physiology. There is an emphasis on the relationship between structure (anatomy) and function (physiology) of the organ systems of the human body. Homeostasis will be an underlying theme of the course. Students will explore specific disease states, where appropriate, for the main purpose of reinforcing specific concepts as they relate to the non-diseased state.
