AFP 1230   Fine Art Studio: 3-D   Credits: 2

In this course, students will expand their skill in manipulating three dimensional form, and develop a sculptural sensitivity to the working properties and expressive qualities of various materials: paper, clay, plaster, wood, steel, and found elements. Students will develop their conceptualizing skills and will be tasked with developing more complex associations between their creations, and the cultural and intellectual milieus of the design community.

ART 1230   Intro Graphic Design   Credits: 3

In this course, students will be introduced to the field of professional graphic design. The student will develop an awareness of the theory, the visual language, and the parameters, processes and responsibilities of the professional and accredited graphic designer.
