No other program at Cambrian is as flexible and customizable as General Arts and Science – College Exploration!
With no core curriculum, you have the ability to completely tailor your studies and work towards a College certificate or diploma or to bridge into a full-time Cambrian program.
You'll benefit from exposure to a variety of professors and subject matter as you explore potential career paths. Choose courses that interest you before applying to a specific program.
You'll work with our educational planners each semester to select courses depending on availability of seats, timetabling constraints, and prerequisite restrictions.
Four semesters may even give you the number of credits required for a General Arts and Science diploma.
1-2 years – 1-4 semesters
Earn a certificate or diploma or bridge into another Cambrian program
Create a customized timetable to explore various programs and career paths
Receive support from Cambrian staff to develop an individualized educational plan to meet your needs and interests
You may even be able to earn credits towards a program of interest.
For graduates of the new curriculum (OSS): Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent or mature student status, including:
Any grade 12 English (C), (U), or (M)
Applicants who are 19 years of age or over and who lack the admission requirements will be considered on an individual basis.

Books & Supplies
Depends on course selection.
Graduates may find employment in occupations requiring a general education or with organizations that prefer to administer their own training programs.
